Day #26 : The Anti-Poem

Okay, so this form is called Descort and it’s basically an anti-poem. There’s deliberately no rhyming, no consistency in syllable count, and each line should be entirely different from the other. It’s also French!

I Noticed How Sad I Was in High school!

Have you ever looked back at pictures from sadder times


Vacant eyes swirling amongst a thinning figure

I didn’t even know she was so melancholic.



Strange to assume it wasn’t so bad

A hollowed out head.



To notice the difference now

Must mean I’m much better.
