Alright, today I’m tackling the Curtal Sonnet. I have never written a sonnet before; only read Shakespeare’s and never really got the hype. SO, here is my attempt at this!
Don’t Unlock the Unknown
The future is a mess of toil and troubles, But still so filled with hope and lovely finds. So soundly sleeps the bear that rules this all. We sit against his cave in tearful puddles. Within his paw, he claws at all mankind. Get too close to the unknown and he will maul the curiosity out of your eyes. No future is to be known or it grinds against the walls of sanity and falls. So wait your time to hear the surprise you call.
