Day #74 and #75! I have officially completed 3/4th’s of this challenge! My next mission is too take a few of these poems that I’ve written, touch them up a bit, and sing them to some sick beats on Garageband ;). This first form is called the Roundelay and it consists of a lot of refrains and an a/b rhyme scheme.
Where They Live Outside
A house made of broken wood Steps of silver stone Two leaves make up the hood Mice slow to roam Lingering longer if they could A tiny, little home
Two leaves make up the hood Mice slow to roam The centipede remembers its childhood Under dirt, they’re quite alone Lingering longer if they could A tiny, little home
The centipede remembers its childhood Under dirt, they’re quite alone Crumbling tunnels – dark, but good With little legs the comb Lingering longer if they could A tiny, little home
Crumbling tunnels – dark, but good With little legs they comb A house made of broken wood Steps of silver stone Lingering longer if they could A tiny, little home
Alright! This next form is called the Seguidilla and it originally started as a dance song, but now it’s just a regular poem… but you could probably still sing it; I don’t think you would get in trouble.
Good Luck Trying
